CHP Bursa Deputy Orhan Sarıbal made important statements regarding the ongoing forest fire in Bursa.

Sarıbal stated, "Unfortunately, there is no aerial intervention. It is a mountainous area. Ground intervention has also been insufficient so far."

The fire that started in the Gürsu and Kestel districts of Bursa approached residential areas, and evacuations began. Sarıbal noted that villagers and farmers are putting up a great fight.

Additionally, warning about drought and irrigation crises, Sarıbal stated, "We are experiencing one of the driest periods in recent years."

Sarıbal emphasized that there has been serious lag in transitioning to modern irrigation systems in agriculture and that the state must ensure production.
