Ekrem İmamoğlu has set the price of tea at 1 TL to support pensioners. This initiative aims to help citizens breathe a little easier.

Efes Selçuk Mayor Filiz Ceritoğlu Sengel explained the motivation behind this initiative. "Pensioners, civil servants, students, workers... Everyone is struggling to make ends meet," she said.

Imamoğlu stated that by setting the price of tea at 1 TL, they want citizens to enjoy the pleasure of drinking tea outside. "They shouldn't have to worry about the cost of the tea they drink when they go out," he said.

Imamoğlu also sent a supportive message to tea producers, urging them not to let their rights be taken away. He highlighted the issues faced by producers.

This initiative is seen as part of the social services in Istanbul. Imamoğlu emphasized that they always strive to provide quality service at an affordable price.
