A bribery and embezzlement investigation is ongoing at Manavgat Municipality. Seven more individuals have been arrested!

In Antalya, a bribery investigation has led to the detention of 34 individuals, including Mayor Niyazi Nefi Kara and his assistants. The investigation alleges that bribes were taken regarding hotel renovations and construction permits.

Recently, city council member Mehmet Tosak and several businessmen were arrested. The investigation is supported by footage showing the deputy mayor allegedly accepting bribes.

The Antalya Provincial Police Department conducted this operation after four months of technical and physical surveillance. It is claimed that the suspects embezzled approximately 800 million lira.
