Water levels in Ankara have reached a critical level! ASKİ warns citizens not to swim in reservoirs.

With rising summer temperatures, some citizens have entered reservoirs, prompting ASKİ to emphasize that these areas are not suitable for swimming. Reservoirs are meant for drinking and usage water supply.

ASKİ stated that warning signs have been placed around the reservoirs and inspections have been increased. Citizens are urged to be cautious to prevent loss of life.

Additionally, recommendations were made to protect water meters against frost risks. It was noted that the areas where meters are located should be shielded from wind.

Water levels in Ankara's reservoirs have significantly decreased over the past year. This situation highlights the importance of water conservation once again.
