Türksat 6A has completed its first year in space! Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced this achievement.

Uraloğlu stated that Türksat 6A symbolizes Turkey's strength in engineering and technology. This satellite offers new opportunities in various fields, from communication to defense industry.

Türksat 6A has become an important step in strengthening Turkey's independence in space. Uraloğlu noted that this project started on December 15, 2014, and took about 10 years to complete.

The production of the satellite involved significant contributions from local institutions. It was produced using 84 local and national satellite equipment, reducing Turkey's dependence on foreign technology.

Türksat 6A will be officially launched on April 21, 2025, with the participation of President Erdoğan. This satellite will enhance Turkey's presence in space.
