Umit Ozdag Acquitted in MIT Case!

Victory Party leader Umit Ozdag was acquitted in the case where he was accused of revealing the identities of MIT members. The court ruled that the legal elements of the crime were not present.
In the hearing at the Ankara 26th Heavy Criminal Court, Ozdag stated that he mentioned the names of the martyrs and prayed for their souls. He emphasized that MIT did not file a complaint against him.

The prosecutor requested Ozdag's acquittal, stating that the legal elements of the crime were not present. The court accepted this request and ruled for acquittal.
Ozdag was being tried for revealing the identities of MIT members during a press conference in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey on February 26, 2020. However, the court ruled that the legal elements of the crime were not present.
