CHP has announced Sevil Aydar Yıldız as the new deputy mayor candidate for Ceyhan. This decision was made following the arrest of Kadir Aydar.

CHP Adana Provincial Chairman Anıl Tanburoğlu stated that a legal process has begun following Kadir Aydar's arrest. He emphasized that all 18 council members will support this process.

Sevil Aydar Yıldız stated that they will uphold the will of the Ceyhan people. She emphasized that Kadir Aydar is innocent.

The deputy mayor election in Ceyhan will take place at 14:00. All CHP members will act in unity and solidarity during this process.
