Bungalows Being Dismantled After Flood Disaster in Rize

In Rize, following the flood disaster, bungalows are being dismantled. Heavy rains have swept away many structures, causing significant damage.
The flood in the districts of Ardeşen and Çamlıhemşin caused many bungalows to be swept away by the overflowing Fırtına Stream. Authorities have pointed out the dangers of construction in riverbeds.
Bungalow owners have started to move their facilities to safe areas using their own means. Some operators have decided to completely close their facilities.
Following this disaster in Rize, teams from DSI and the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change are continuing their inspections in the region. It has been emphasized that interventions that disrupt the natural balance will not be allowed.
