Breaking weather alert! Heavy rain is expected in Istanbul and Ankara.

The General Directorate of Meteorology announced that temperatures will drop across Turkey, with rainy weather expected especially in the northern regions. Heavy showers are anticipated in the Black Sea and Marmara regions.

In Istanbul, temperatures are expected to range from 19-24°C, while Ankara will see 22-27°C and Izmir will have 29-34°C. Citizens are advised to be cautious and take necessary precautions.

AKOM has warned that winds will be strong from the north in Istanbul, potentially reaching storm levels. Therefore, residents should remain vigilant.

Storms are also expected at sea. In the Western Black Sea, winds are predicted to reach speeds of 50-75 km/h. Mariners are advised to exercise caution.
