Landslides in Rize have affected five districts. The heavy rainfall has caused soil slips on village roads.

In the districts of Çamlıhemşin, Fındıklı, Pazar, Çayeli, and Güneysu, soil and rock debris have blocked the roads. There were 11 landslides in Fındıklı, 10 in Pazar, 4 in Çayeli, 2 in Çamlıhemşin, and 1 in Güneysu.

The local administration has started working with 17 machines and 21 personnel to clear the roads. The teams are making intense efforts to reopen the village roads.

This natural disaster in Rize has negatively impacted the local life. Necessary precautions are being taken for the safety of the citizens.
