Heat Wave Expected in the Aegean Sea and the Balkans

A heat wave is hitting the Aegean Sea and the Balkans. Temperatures are expected to exceed 40 degrees!
According to the General Directorate of Meteorology, temperatures across Turkey will rise by 6 to 12 degrees. In the Aegean region, temperatures could reach up to 43°C.

In Adana, temperatures may reach 46°C, while similar temperatures are expected in Antalya and Şırnak. Experts warn that these temperatures could pose health risks.

The impact of the heat wave is expected to last until August 20. This weekend, temperatures in Istanbul could rise to 32°C, but thunderstorms may also occur in some areas.
