Traffic accidents in Istanbul, especially in the Beşiktaş area, have been increasing lately. These incidents, referred to as fivefold gang accidents, are drawing attention from drivers.

The latest accident occurred in Beşiktaş, where an IETT bus collided with a minibus, causing it to overturn. Fortunately, the drivers escaped without injury, but one passenger on the bus sustained minor injuries.

Following the accident, health, police, and fire brigade teams were dispatched to the scene. The injured received first aid on-site and were taken to the hospital.

In another incident in Beşiktaş, a bus began emitting smoke from its engine and was pulled over to evacuate passengers. The fire was extinguished by the fire brigade.

In a chain collision in Beyoğlu, two IETT buses and nine vehicles collided, injuring five people. Health teams immediately intervened.

All these accidents remind us that drivers need to be more careful. Traffic safety in Istanbul has become more important than ever.
