Damage assessment works have rapidly begun after the fire in Çanakkale's Bayramiç district. Minister Kurum announced on social media that 43 independent units were severely damaged or destroyed.

I extend my best wishes to the citizens affected by the fire. The state will do everything necessary to heal the wounds.

Minister Kurum stated that 26 houses were severely damaged in Saçaklı Village, where the damage assessment works have been completed. Assessments in other villages are still ongoing.

Emphasizing that the state is with the citizens with all its resources after the fire, Minister Kurum said, "We will be by the nation's side."
