Energy and Natural Resources Minister Alparslan Bayraktar emphasized that the natural gas shipment to Syria is a commercial activity. This statement is seen as an important step in Turkey's energy policies.

Minister Bayraktar stated that natural gas will be sent from Kilis to Aleppo to meet the electricity needs of 5 million households in Syria. This process will play a critical role in meeting Syria's energy needs.

Electricity supply in Syria is expected to increase to 10 hours a day. This means doubling the current electricity production capacity. Bayraktar stated that these projects will contribute to the normalization of Syria.

Minister Bayraktar highlighted that Turkey is taking significant steps for energy security and regional stability. Rebuilding Syria's energy infrastructure is among Turkey's priorities.
