As tourism continues to thrive during the summer season, water consumption in Bodrum has also increased. The Geyik Dam's water level has dropped to 33%, and the Mumcular Dam's level has fallen to 22%. This situation has led to water cuts.

While water cuts are occurring in Bodrum, residents have started receiving water via tankers. This situation has caused significant issues, especially in areas with high tourist density during the summer months.

The water crisis in Izmir is also affecting Bodrum. While water cuts in Çeşme have reached up to 10 hours, similar situations are expected in Bodrum.

A burst in the drinking water supply line in Bodrum resulted in tons of water flooding the streets. This situation has further deepened the water crisis.
