Fire Disaster in France: Government Mobilized

In the Aude region of southern France, forest fires have led to a major disaster.
The fire has resulted in one death and at least nine injuries. Firefighting planes are actively intervening to control the flames. Authorities reported that the fire has destroyed 11,000 hectares of land.

French President Emmanuel Macron announced that all government resources have been mobilized. Fire department spokesperson Eric Brocardi described the situation as "an unprecedented disaster."
Due to the fire, 2,500 households are currently without electricity. Officials stated that weather conditions are complicating firefighting efforts.
