President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan visited Anıtkabir. This visit took place before the High Military Council meeting.

During his speech, Erdoğan emphasized Turkey's struggle to become a leading country in the region. He stated, "We are taking historic steps."

Signing the special guestbook at Anıtkabir, Erdoğan wrote, "Dear Atatürk, we are here in your presence. We are fighting to make Turkey a strong country in the reshaped global system."

The High Military Council meeting will address the command structure of the Turkish Armed Forces and promotion issues. Erdoğan expressed his belief that this meeting will be a new milestone.
