A fire broke out at a pharmacy in the Fatih district of Istanbul. The fire occurred on the ground floor of a five-story building and quickly spread to the upper floors.

The fire started around 09:30 and many firefighting teams were dispatched to the scene. The owners of the business attempted to intervene first, but the flames grew rapidly.

During the fire, explosions occurred, causing temporary panic among the neighborhood residents. Fortunately, there were no fatalities or injuries reported.

Firefighters arrived quickly despite the narrow streets and managed to bring the fire under control. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Local resident Fahrettin Kılıç noted that the thick smoke engulfed the neighborhood as the fire started. Security measures were taken in the area after the incident.
