President Erdoğan and Prime Minister Starmer Met

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held an important phone meeting with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
During the meeting, bilateral relations between Turkey and the UK, as well as regional and global issues, were discussed. Erdoğan emphasized the critical humanitarian situation in Gaza.

Erdoğan stated that Turkey continuously sends humanitarian aid to Gaza and supports ceasefire negotiations. He also congratulated Starmer for his statements regarding the recognition of the State of Palestine.
The meeting also addressed the procurement of Eurofighter jets and the update of the Free Trade Agreement. Erdoğan expressed hope for results from negotiations within this year.

President Erdoğan stressed the need to enhance cooperation between the two countries and highlighted that the humanitarian crisis in Gaza should not be overlooked.
