AK Party and MHP Commission: First Steps for a Terror-Free Turkey

The AK Party and MHP are taking the first steps to establish a 'Terror-Free Turkey' commission in Parliament. The first meeting will take place tomorrow.
Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş met with party representatives to discuss the commission's operation and name. The names proposed by the CHP will also be discussed at the meeting.

Regarding the commission's name, the MHP proposed 'National Unity and Solidarity Commission', while the CHP suggested 'Commission for Democracy, Justice, and Social Consensus'.
The meeting will also discuss the decision-making quorum and working methods of the commission. It is noted that there are differing views between the ruling and opposition parties.
In the first meeting of the commission, each party representative will be given 20 minutes, while other members will have 10 minutes to speak.
