Climate Change and Global Warming: Temperature Records

Global warming and climate change are causing temperature records to be broken worldwide. Even Scandinavian countries are affected by this heat wave.
In Finland, temperatures have risen above 30°C, while a station in Norway's Arctic Circle recorded the same temperatures for 13 consecutive days. This situation highlights the impacts of climate change.

In Sweden's Haparanda region, temperatures remained above 25°C for 14 consecutive days. These temperatures have triggered natural events, leading to wildfires.
Mika Rantanen from the Finnish Meteorological Institute stated that this heat wave is unprecedented. The rise in temperatures above seasonal norms by 8-10°C is negatively impacting nature.

This heat wave has also surprised tourists. Those expecting a cool vacation were met with dangerous heat warnings.
