Ümit Özdağ's Reaction to the Commission and Call for Live Broadcast

Ümit Özdağ made significant statements regarding the controversial 'Brotherhood Commission' in recent days.
The leader of the Victory Party, Özdağ, stated that this commission could open discussions about the national unitary structure of the Turkish state. Özdağ said, "This structure tries to legitimize discourses that could weaken the fundamental qualities of the state instead of strengthening social unity."

Özdağ demanded that all meetings of the commission be broadcast live on television. "The Turkish people should see who will make what demands at this table," he stated.
He also emphasized that political circles connected to terrorism are being supported while those defending the integrity of the Turkish nation are being silenced through pressure and exclusionary methods.

Özdağ stated that the Turkish nation clearly sees who should be held accountable and expressed that remaining silent in the face of such developments could lead to greater problems in the future.
