CHP Meeting Agenda for the Terror-Free Turkey Commission

CHP will hold an important meeting for the 'Terror-Free Turkey' commission at the TBMM. In this meeting, the party's conditions and proposals will be discussed.
CHP Chairman Özgür Özel emphasized the conditions of equal representation and qualified majority. They stated that they would not participate in the commission if these conditions are not met.
The meeting will also discuss necessary steps regarding press and freedom of expression. CHP stressed that social media posts should not be grounds for detention.
CHP will also bring the views of martyrs and veterans' families to the agenda. They will insist on addressing these issues in the commission.
The date of the meeting is set for August 5. This meeting will be chaired by TBMM President Numan Kurtulmuş, where the commission's working procedures and principles will also be determined.
