The storm and lightning disaster shocked the sports world. A lightning strike occurred during a football match in Loznica, injuring two players.

According to the statement from Loznica Health Center, one of the injured players is in critical condition, while the other is reported to be in good health.

In Croatia, 16 people were rescued due to heavy rain and storms. The Split Fire Department reported that boats and ships were tossed around, and flooding occurred.

Due to adverse weather conditions, the match between Hajduk Split and Istra 1961 was also postponed. The sports world must be more cautious against such disasters.
