Imamoğlu highlighted that the local car TOGG is cheaper in Germany, emphasizing how the unfair tax system affects citizens. "The local TOGG costs 1 million 663 thousand TL in Germany, while it is 2 million 363 thousand TL in Turkey," he said.

Imamoğlu stated, "We will build a system where those who earn more pay more tax, and those who earn less pay less," emphasizing the importance of a fair tax system.

Despite being imprisoned in Silivri, Imamoğlu's bold statements once again highlight the tense political climate in Turkey.
