Recently, various regions in Turkey have experienced disasters such as avalanches, landslides, and soil erosion. These natural events have caused significant damage to many forested areas.
In Çankırı, a forest fire on July 10 caused damage to approximately 40 hectares of land. The fire spread rapidly due to the wind and was brought under control through intense efforts by the teams.
Similar situations have occurred in Kastamonu, where a fire in agricultural land spread to the forest due to the wind, damaging 10 hectares of land.

Authorities are taking various measures to prevent such disasters. Firefighting teams are on standby 24/7 to respond to forest fires.
