The General Directorate of Meteorology announced the weather report for July 12-13, 2025. While local showers are expected in the northeast of the country, a heat wave will be effective in most parts. Especially in the Southeastern Anatolia Region, temperatures are expected to reach up to 44 degrees.
In the regions of Sakarya, Düzce, Zonguldak, Bartın, Samsun, Ordu, and Giresun, showers and thunderstorms are expected. In other regions, the weather will generally be partly cloudy and clear.
Experts remind that temperatures are measured in the shade, and these values can rise significantly under direct sunlight. They recommend that those with chronic illnesses, the elderly, and children avoid going outside between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
