Transport and Infrastructure Minister Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced that Turkish airports served 134 million 949 thousand 751 passengers in the first seven months of the year. This figure surpasses the population of Istanbul!

Minister Uraloğlu stated that the domestic passenger traffic was 10 million 13 thousand 193, while the international traffic was 16 million 118 thousand 978. A total of 26 million 138 thousand 27 passengers were served!

Istanbul Airport served 46 million 954 thousand 629 passengers during this period. Airports have become a significant hub for Turkey's transportation mega projects.
