High Fire Risk Warning for Turkey! Attention to Natural Disasters

High temperatures and strong winds pose a significant threat of forest fires in Turkey.
The General Directorate of Forestry has warned that weather conditions are conducive to fire risks. Extreme heat, low humidity, and wind increase the likelihood of fires. Therefore, citizens are urged to be cautious and avoid starting fires.
Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Ibrahim Yumaklı stated that temperatures are expected to rise by 6 to 12 degrees in the coming days, increasing the fire risk. He emphasized the need for preparedness against fires.
The General Directorate of Forestry has called on citizens to be extremely cautious about forest fires, warning that even the smallest negligence can lead to major disasters.
To prevent fires, it is essential to avoid burning stubble, throwing cigarette butts on the ground, and to dispose of waste in trash bins rather than in nature.
