Corruption Case in Izmir: Two Indictments Accepted

Corruption investigations in Izmir are continuing at full speed. Two new indictments have been accepted!
The Izmir Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has submitted indictments regarding corruption investigations against the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality. These indictments include allegations related to the rental of machinery and vehicles as well as asphalt paving work.
56 suspects are facing prison sentences ranging from 3 to 14 years. Among the suspects is the former General Manager of IZBETON A.Ş., Heval Savaş Kaya, who will appear before the judge on November 24.
In a previously accepted indictment, up to 45 years of imprisonment is sought for 65 suspects, including former Izmir Metropolitan Mayor Tunç Soyer and CHP Izmir Provincial Chairman Şenol Aslanoğlu.
