Republican People's Party (CHP) deputies expressed strong criticism regarding hazelnut prices. They emphasized that prices below 250 lira are unacceptable.

Under the instruction of CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, deputies visited Ordu to listen to the problems of hazelnut producers. Former CHP Group Vice President Engin Altay stated that hazelnut prices do not cover production costs.

Engin Altay remarked, "It is unacceptable to offer a product with a cost of 186 lira for 190-200 lira. This is mocking the hazelnut producer."

CHP Ordu Deputy Seyit Torun stated, "The AKP government has ignored the Black Sea producers. This is entirely an attempt to harm hazelnut producers."

Giresun Deputy Elvan Işık Gezmiş said, "The announced price of 195 TL does not even cover production costs. Our producers must receive their rights."

Izmir Deputy Yüksel Taşkın noted, "There is a collapse in agriculture as a whole. Early elections are necessary to change the fate of our producers."
