A forest fire disaster is unfolding in Bartın!

The fire broke out near the village of Kayadibi Çavuş at around 5 PM. Upon seeing the fire, witnesses immediately reported it, prompting teams to be dispatched to the area. Two helicopters, ten fire trucks, and three heavy machinery units began to intervene.

Bartın Governor Nurtaç Arslan is monitoring the efforts on-site. Local residents are also supporting the firefighting efforts. The teams continue to combat the flames from both the air and ground.

The fire spread rapidly due to the wind. With the teams' quick response, it is expected that the fire will be brought under control soon. Firefighting operations are ongoing at full speed.
