Record Number of Transit Flights in Turkish Airspace!

Transport and Infrastructure Minister Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced that Turkey's airspace serves as an important transit bridge between Europe, the Gulf, and Asian countries.
On April 27, a total of 1729 transit flights were conducted in Turkish airspace, marking the highest number of transit flights ever recorded.

Uraloğlu noted a 9% increase in transit flights compared to the same period last year. Turkey is strategically located to provide access to 67 countries with a population of 1.5 billion people.
Minister Uraloğlu emphasized that they continue their efforts to make Turkey one of the leading transit centers in aviation.
