Summer weather is coming to Istanbul! The General Directorate of Meteorology has announced the weather forecasts.

The country is expected to be partly and very cloudy, with intermittent showers and thunderstorms in the Aegean and Mediterranean regions. It is predicted that temperatures will remain around seasonal norms.

Prof. Dr. Orhan Şen stated that starting from Sunday, the weather will warm up, and next week all of Turkey will experience summer-like temperatures. In Istanbul, temperatures are expected to rise to 25-28 °C.

Rainfall is expected to be locally strong in southern Central Anatolia and the inner parts of the Mediterranean. Winds are predicted to be strong from the north and northeast.

As temperatures rise, we will experience sunny and warm days in the coming days. A sunny weather is expected this weekend in Istanbul.

The General Directorate of Meteorology announced that temperatures across Turkey will remain above seasonal norms. This week, temperatures are expected to exceed 20 °C.
