Poland is supporting Turkey's membership in the European Union!

Poland's Deputy Foreign Minister Anna Radwan stated that they are closely monitoring Turkey's EU membership process. Radwan expressed Poland's commitment to fulfilling its responsibilities regarding Turkey's EU accession.

Radwan noted, "The EU does not apply religious criteria when seeking partners. Economic and political criteria are considered for Turkey's EU membership."

Poland's interest in Turkey is not only political but also tourist-related. Approximately 1.8 million Poles visit Turkey for vacation.

Radwan emphasized that Turkish cuisine is also an important reason for visiting Turkey. The rich cultural heritage of Turkey makes it an attractive destination for Poles.

During Poland's EU Presidency, important meetings will be held regarding Turkey's accession. Turkey's role in this process is of great significance.
