Weather is changing in the Aegean Sea and the Balkans!

According to the General Directorate of Meteorology, a storm with winds reaching 70 kilometers per hour is expected in Marmara and the Aegean, as well as in the northern and western parts of Central Anatolia. This will particularly affect Istanbul and its surroundings.

Today, temperatures across the country are expected to be above seasonal norms, but will drop below 15 degrees at night. A cold air wave may bring snow to high areas like Erzurum, Kars, and Gümüşhane.

In Istanbul, temperatures may rise to 25 degrees, but rain is expected tomorrow and on Monday. Warnings have been issued to be cautious during this period.

The cold air wave coming from the Balkans will be effective in Marmara and Istanbul. Storms and heavy rains are particularly expected.
