On Republic Day, Murat Çalık shared a hopeful message!

Mehmet Murat Çalık, the Mayor of Beylikdüzü, who is imprisoned in İzmir Buca Prison, stated in his Republic Day message, "The Republic is not just a form of government, but a will to live."

Çalık emphasized that the Republic is a great social contract where everyone is considered equal citizens. He stated, "The Republic is the name of hope, not anger."

Stating that the Republic is the legacy of those who pay the price, Çalık said, "No darkness lasts forever in these lands."
