Spain has started to impose an arms embargo on Israel in response to the genocide in Gaza. This decision is considered an important step for international security and human rights.

The Spanish government has terminated its defense cooperation with Israel, canceling billion-euro agreements. This includes the cancellation of projects like the Spike LR2 anti-tank missile and the PULS rocket system.

In addition to this embargo, the Spanish government plans to increase aid to the Palestinian National Authority. Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez emphasized that these decisions aim to stop the genocide in Gaza.
