Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan made significant statements regarding the SDG. He emphasized the need for the international community to develop new methods in the fight against terrorism.

Fidan highlighted that the Syrian government has the will to cooperate in the fight against DAEŞ. He stated that this will needs to be supported.

Fidan stressed that the SDG should abandon its divisive agenda. The security of Syria poses a threat to Turkey as well.

Syrian Foreign Minister Sheybani also stated that they will adhere to the principles of one country and one army in dialogue with the SDG.

Fidan mentioned that they evaluated cooperation opportunities regarding the security situation and humanitarian aid in Syria.
