Recently, a major operation was conducted against cyber crimes. In this operation, 284 individuals were arrested across 48 provinces.

According to Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya, these operations targeted crimes such as qualified fraud, illegal betting, and online child exploitation. It was found that suspects were committing fraud through social media.

As a result of the operations, it was determined that the suspects accessed mobile banking accounts and gained unfair profits. This situation highlights the prevalence of cyber crimes once again.

Ali Yerlikaya emphasized the importance of awareness in the fight against cyber crimes, urging citizens to report suspicious situations to the 112 Emergency Call Center.
