The Turkish Grand National Assembly has extended its working period!

The TBMM, which was supposed to go on vacation on July 1, 2025, will continue its work due to a busy agenda. This decision was published in the Official Gazette.

A commission regarding the Terror-Free Turkey process is expected to be established in the TBMM. During this period, four important law proposals will be discussed.

With the proposal of the AK Party, the working period of the TBMM has been extended until July 31. Important topics such as the Climate Law and international agreements will be addressed during this time.

The TBMM convenes on the first day of October each year. This year, it is expected to start the new legislative year on October 1, 2025.
