Migrant Operations in Bodrum and Relations with Greece

A migrant boat was stopped off Bodrum! The Greek coast guard fired shots to stop a boat trying to escape to Turkey.
Off the coast of Bodrum, a migrant boat carrying 23 migrants was attempting to reach the island of Kos when it was stopped by Greek coast guard. The coast guard fired shots after the boat failed to stop despite warnings.

The Georgian national who was operating the boat was detained by Greek authorities. The boat was confiscated, and the migrants were questioned.
Additionally, a yacht heading from Bodrum to Italy ran aground, leading Greek authorities to seize the Turkish yacht. This situation raises concerns about the ongoing migrant crisis between Turkey and Greece.

These incidents in Greece complicate the passage of migrants across the Aegean Sea. The relations between Turkey and Greece are negatively affected by this situation.
