Ukrainian President Zelensky stated that a ceasefire could start at any moment.

In his statement in Czechia, Zelensky expressed that Russia is not taking real steps to end the war. He said, "We believe that without increasing pressure, Russia will not take steps to end the war."

Zelensky emphasized that a ceasefire should last at least 30 days to give diplomacy a real chance. He also mentioned that Putin should think about how to end the war instead of showcasing tanks on May 9.

Czech President Pavel pointed out that Putin has not yet taken steps to end the war. "If someone holds the cards to end the war, it is Putin," he said.

Zelensky stated that more sanctions should be imposed on Russia and support for Ukraine should continue. He emphasized the need to increase defense cooperation across Europe.
