Allegations of corruption against the AKP Mayor of Chayırova have come to light. İYİ Party Chayırova District President İlhami Bayrak has filed a complaint.

Bayrak claims that the mayor's foundation has diverted public resources to certain individuals and institutions. He also alleges that those pressured to donate to the foundation received preferential treatment in municipal tenders.

The allegations include the misuse of public lands for personal gain and illegal zoning amendments. Bayrak has requested a thorough investigation into these irregularities under Article 250 of the Turkish Penal Code, which defines 'extortion'.

Bayrak pointed out that the foundation's management consists entirely of the mayor and his close associates, emphasizing that no public statements have been made regarding the foundation's activities.
