A criminal complaint has been filed against those damaging escalators in Ankara. This situation negatively affects the daily lives of citizens beyond just harming public property.

The Ankara Metropolitan Municipality identified individuals intentionally damaging escalators on metro lines and crossings. Such actions complicate transportation for elderly and disabled citizens.

The municipality emphasized that it will not tolerate such irresponsible behavior and that those who damage public property will be held accountable before the law. These actions were recorded by security cameras.

In Ankara's Sincan-GİMSA underpass and ANKAMALL overpass, a group of young people was seen deliberately pressing the emergency stop buttons. Such actions harm the common values of society.
