In Çayırova, İYİ Party District President İlhami Bayrak filed a complaint against AKP Mayor Bünyamin Çiftçi over corruption allegations.

Bayrak claimed that public resources were misused through the Çayırova Social Aid Thought and Civilization Foundation. According to the allegations, those pressured to donate to the foundation gained advantages in municipal tenders.

He stated that the management of the foundation consists entirely of the mayor and his close associates, and that the foundation's address is also listed as the mayor's workplace.

Bayrak requested a thorough investigation into the irregularities, which he claimed constitute the crime of 'bribery' under Article 250 of the Turkish Penal Code.

The allegations include the use of public lands for personal gain and illegal zoning amendments. Bayrak expressed that various news reports had been made on the issue, but no satisfactory response was received from the Çayırova Municipality.
