The General Directorate of Meteorology has issued a warning for strong rain and storms across Turkey. Which regions should you be cautious about?

Today, a partly cloudy and very cloudy weather is expected across the country. The eastern Marmara, the Eastern Mediterranean, the southern and eastern parts of Central Anatolia, the Black Sea, and the Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia will experience rainfall. Especially, local heavy rains are expected along the western Black Sea coasts.

Winds are expected to generally blow from the north and northwest. Therefore, transportation disruptions may occur due to the wind's effects. Citizens are advised to be cautious.

Meteorology predicts local heavy rains especially in Adana, Mersin, Osmaniye, Kahramanmaraş, Hatay, Sivas, and Malatya. There is a risk of flooding and water accumulation in these areas.

Citizens need to be careful against adverse conditions such as sudden floods, lightning, and transportation disruptions. Strong winds are expected during the rainfall.
