The AKP member of parliament elections and commission developments are on the agenda!

TBMM President Numan Kurtulmuş requested one member each from AKP, CHP, and DEM for the National Solidarity, Brotherhood, and Democracy Commission. Following the IYI Party's decision not to participate, three seats remain vacant in the commission.

Kurtulmuş stated the principles of the commission as transparency, openness, and pluralism during the first meeting on August 5. The second meeting took place on August 8, where it was unanimously decided that the meeting would be held under the principle of complete confidentiality.

Kurtulmuş requested AKP, CHP, and DEM to nominate members for the vacant seats due to the IYI Party's decision not to participate. This situation raises questions about how it will affect the commission's work.
