Recent events in CHP have drawn attention. Bayrampaşa Municipal Council Member Deniz Uykan announced that he was threatened by unidentified individuals. This situation has increased tensions within the party.

Uykan filed a criminal complaint with the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, sharing threatening messages sent to him via WhatsApp. The messages included phrases like, 'Don't be afraid and don't try to escape. We are watching you.'

At the same time, two CHP council members, Sadi Teker and Ali Karahasanoğlu, announced their resignation from the party. Their reasons for resignation included the attitudes of Bayrampaşa Mayor Hasan Mutlu.

Teker and Karahasanoğlu stated in their joint statement, 'Our journey to serve the people of Bayrampaşa sincerely has unfortunately come to an end.'

CHP Bayrampaşa District President Alican Çam stated that the resignations were an attempt to mislead the public. He emphasized that the party's disciplinary processes are ongoing.

Deniz Uykan shared on his social media account, 'As an honorable member of the Republican People's Party, I will never give up the struggle.'
