Hurricane and Storm Disaster: Latest Updates and Effects

Recently, the hurricane and storm disaster has negatively impacted many regions in Turkey. According to weather reports, downpours have started to turn into snowfall.
In Muş, the snow depth reached 5 centimeters at the 2,600-meter-high Çavuştepe area. This situation has made life particularly difficult in high-altitude areas. In Kalecik village, the snow depth exceeded 2 meters, and villagers are struggling to reach their homes.
In Sivas, hail and downpours have covered streets and roads in white. Some cultivated agricultural lands have been damaged by flooding. This situation means significant losses for farmers.
In Muğla, due to heavy downpours, roads, houses, and cemeteries were flooded. Some boats sank due to the storm, and power outages occurred.
Snowfall was also effective in the highlands of Bursa. In İnegöl district, temperatures dropped below zero, surprising the residents with the unexpected snow.
